Nice to meet you! My name is Joe Soucy. A current resident of Providence, RI, I originally hail from a small town in Massachusetts.
Throughout my many years as an Amazon delivery driver delivering in three states, I observed thousands of structures in various states of disrepair, inside and out. I asked myself one simple question: Can I make a difference?
When my wife and I bought our home, a lot of painting needed to be done. Before I knew it, I was hooked! During that process and across my subsequent projects, I found that yes, I can make a difference.
I pride myself on providing superior craftsmanship on every job I do, and it would be my privilege to show you what those words mean to me.

I get it! There’s a lot to think about before painting, from color and sheen all the way to decorative coatings and accent pieces. Good news: I do it all. My mission is to make this process simple and personalized while providing superior value for your money.
I always follow OSHA safety standards on roofs, on the ground, and everywhere in between. I am also dedicated to providing a drug-free workspace, high-end paint products, an environment where you feel heard, and the level of customer satisfaction you deserve.

Here at Different Strokes Painting, I hold myself accountable for all the work that I do. I believe in using top-quality products on every jobsite. If a product failure occurs, I try to have the paint manufacturer recompensate me for both the product and the labor. If I made a mistake, you have an extra layer of protection on your investment. Limitations and conditions apply.
Before-and-after of a laundry room I did earlier this year. I removed the customer's outdated, stubborn wallpaper, applied an oil-based primer to secure any remaining wallpaper sizing, applied joint compound to smooth the walls, primed with PVA, and painted with beautiful Benjamin Moore Regal Select in Navajo White (OC-95).
